VIDEO: Tuition Freeze/Cap Bill Senate Hearing

I encourage all of you to watch this hearing on SF268. This bill would freeze tuition for the next two years and then create a cap at consumer price index (CPI or commonly referred to as inflation) for the following years.

MSUSA Chair Andrew Spaeth gives incredible testimony and really lays out the facts in a clear and concise manner. After his testimony he is asked numerous questions and does a great job reminding the committee why higher education funding needs to be a priority.

Other tesifiers include Travis Johnson and Geoff Dittberner from MSCSA, UofM students and faculty and Russ Stanton from the Inter-Faculty Organization which represents the faculty at MN State Universities.
