MnSCU System Office Diversity and Equity Division Student Worker Position

Interested in webdesign, management and promoting Diversity throughout the system?

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities’ System Office Diversity and Equity Division is seeking a student worker that can provide assistance with webpage design, management and maintenance, as well as, project organization and completion; and clerical work as assigned. The student will primarily focus on designing and maintaining the Diversity and Equity Division’s website:, but will also work on a number of diverse projects within the division. The division offers the student the opportunity to build skills, knowledge and abilities while working in an exciting, diverse and multicultural professional environment.

Assess Diversity and Equity Division’s website, and perform regular updates and design on the website
Assist in staffing division meetings and events
Work with a multicultural population
Update campus and community contacts
Word processing, organizing and filing
Develop spreadsheets for quarterly reports
Assist in technical writing for special projects and reports
Clerical work and projects
Other duties as assigned

Must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits per semester during the regular year at a Minnesota State Colleges and Universities campus.
Must be proficient in Webpage design and various design programs. Knowledge of Serena Collage a plus.

Twenty-five hours a week for 3 to 6 months at $12.00 per hour
